“For as long as I can remember I have loved flowers. I remember as a five-year-old girl in my mother’s garden picking roses, geraniums, herbs and carnations. I’d then set about arranging them in whatever containers I could find in my mother or grandmother’s cupboards.” – el LE FLEUR owner, Elmarie Bredell.
This was the metaphoric planting of seed for the floral enterprise that has germinated to become el LE FLEUR. Flowers have always been a backdrop to her life, but were not always her occupation. For years, she only did occasional flower arrangements for functions, charities and friends. This life-long love affair was however to have an inevitable conclusion and she easily made the choice of turning her creative streak into a full-time occupation. And el LE FLEUR flower studio was born.
